The second Hyper Interdisciplinary Conference in Singapore took place on 21 August 2020, online via Microsoft Teams. The event was supported by Mitsui Chemicals R&D Centre and Autonomous Control Systems Laboratory. We are glad to have 228 audiences and speakers from corporates, government agencies, startups, academias, and researchers joining us online.
In the event, we have invited expertise from various fields to share with us their innovative and impactful research findings and technologies in order to solve deep issues.
The program is divided into theme setting, technology splash and 3 sessions.
In each sessions, the speakers introduced impactful and innovative studies related to their field. The contents presented were top-notch and bridges current technology gaps in Singapore and possibly Southeast Asia. In the Skin Health for Southeast Asians panel session, trends like personalising core, consumer-centric, as well as side effects were discussed. Meanwhile for Nutraceutical Solution for Healthier Living panel session, an important concept of healthy mind over healthy body was introduced to optimise human performance. While in the Developing Smart Cities in Southeast Asia panel session, sustainable city as well as citizen experience were covered. The panel discussions presented meaningful views and explored solutions for today's needs.
