Nowadays, issues which we need to tackle require a combination of expertise. However it is still quite challenging to have those experts come to one place and discuss possible solutions as a group. The Hyper Interdisciplinary Conference started in Tokyo Japan to address such issues. We are launching 3 new Hyper Interdisciplinary Conferences in ASEAN this year after having done so in Malaysia, Singapore and in the Philippines in the past years. We are happy to announce that we will be having the very first Hyper Interdisciplinary Conference in Thailand (HIC TH) on 19th November 2022 at True Digital Park, Bangkok Thailand.
As the first time holding the conference, we have chosen a topic which is close to Thailand. The first HIC TH conference theme is “Foundation of World Central Deep-Tech Kitchen.” Thailand has been the world central kitchen for food as it has a strong agricultural industry. Under that big theme we have 3 sessions related to food technology with 1 special session focusing on connecting the deep tech ecosystem in Thailand to Japan.
Target participants are researchers from various disciplines, industries and government sectors. Having participants from different backgrounds will allow us to see the topic from various points of views and that will be a key for the knowledge manufacturing process at the conference. Knowledge manufacturing refers to the process where people will add their ideas to the initial ideas shared at the conference.
