About HIC MY 2023

Malaysia has been a prominent country in ASEAN in terms of Agricultural Research and Development. There is plenty of valuable and impactful research developed in universities and research institutes. Nonetheless, the research translation process to be applied in agricultural settings is the overriding issue which includes Mechanization and Automation in Modern Farming, Breakthrough of Agri-biotechnology in Malaysia and Cultivating Sustainable Energy from Bioresources.

In the 5th instalment of the Hyper Interdisciplinary Conference Malaysia 2023 (HIC MY 2023), with the theme, Unlocking Frontier Agricultural Technology towards Food Security and Sustainability, we hope to expose the research findings/innovations from universities and research institutes to corporate attention and create future collaboration across different institutes and disciplines. This will unlock the frontier agricultural technology to be capitalized towards food security and sustainability in the agricultural setting.

In the Hyper Interdisciplinary Conference, researchers, faculty, and students from academia can register for the poster session and join the conference for free of charge. For interested participants outside of academia, please get in touch with us. The conference will be conducted at HIVE 5, MRANTI Park.
