The Philippines has always been overflowing with talent and potential for the creation and development of new technologies. However, it has been difficult to find opportunities and ways to make the ideas materialize. In the past few years, Filipino talents and researchers have launched startups with their innovative ideas and technologies in mind, only to face one of the common challenges: difficulty in acquiring materials, prototyping, and mass production.
In the third panel session of the Hyper Interdisciplinary Conference of the Philippines 2021, we will be exploring the possibilities of solving this problem through the collaboration and support of local and international partners. The panelists will include representatives from startups, technology business incubators, and technology service providers to discuss examples of support and areas of collaboration.
The Hyper Interdisciplinary Conference (HIC) in the Philippines 2021 is an initiative of the Leave a Nest Group to bring together people from different disciplines and walks of life, with the belief that a good level of diversity is the key to successful innovation. This year, the conference will be held fully online with the theme “Inclusive Disruption in an Island Nation: Disrupting with New Technologies while Maximizing Accessibility”.
